Here’s a quick one for all the iTunes users out there who have upgraded to version 10 of Apple’s music software and want to clean up their interface a bit. Since the early versions of iTunes, there have always been checkboxes next to song titles used for selecting and deselecting songs. Well, what if you’ve never used them? Why keep something around you may accidentally uncheck?
Go to Edit>Preferences, and under the General tab un-check Show list checkboxes and click OK.
Voila! No more checkboxes!
You can also get rid of the annoying icons along the left column, too. Once again, go to Edit>Preferences, and under the General tab un-check Show source icons.
There, now you have a clean, professional-looking iTunes interface!
