Removing Google SearchWiki From IE
As you may recall, awhile back, I told you about Google SearchWiki and how you can remove it from Firefox using a Greasemonkey script or by adding a few letters to the end of your searches. Well, what if you use Internet Explorer as your main Web browser? Wouldn’t you like to know how you can remove SearchWiki from it as well? Then keep reading, because that’s exactly what we’re going to cover today!
1.) First, go to www.google.com and search for “TEST” in all CAPS.
2.) Next, in the address bar, add &hl=all to the end of the address and hit Enter on your keyboard. You should see SearchWiki disappear right away! Now, copy the entire address.

3.) Click on the arrow next to the search box in the top right hand corner of the page and select Find More Providers.

4.) In the Create Your Own box, paste the URL you copied in Step 2 and give it a name like “Google Without SearchWiki.”

5.) Hit Install and then click on Add Provider.
6.) Next, click on the arrow next to the search box again and choose your newly created search engine.

When you search from that box, Internet Explorer will automatically add &hl=all to the end of the address so that you don’t have to worry about it any longer. Happy searching!
