Sometimes a sequel turns out better (and answers more questions) that the first part of a series. Take this tip, for example. The other day I wrote a blurb on how to lock you iPad’s screen rotation – I also complained that the original hardware method no longer existed.
Well, I lied. With a simple trip to the settings panel of your iPad, you CAN restore the ability to lock your screen rotation with a flip of the side switch.
Just press theĀ Settings icon, and scroll down until you see this option.

Press to enable, and you’re all set.
Now instead of muting your iPad, the side switch locks your screen rotation!

I’ll keep my eyes open a little wider next time!
