So, we all know that Windows has a built-in file compression (Zip) program, right? You highlight all the files you’d like to compress, right-click, choose Send to and select Compressed (Zipped) folder.
Easy enough, right? But it always seems that Windows just pulls a name from one of the files your zipping to name the compressed folder.
Here’s a tip, though: Windows names your zip file based on which file you right-click on! So if you make note of what file you’re clicking on for the Send to menu, you’ll always know what your zip file will be named as!
Good info to know!
