Michele, it’s pretty easy. Just select the object you want with your cursor:
Right-click on the image and choose Save as Picture from the drop-down menu.
Then select the file format in which you wish to save the image.
Then select Save.
I tested this process with PowerPoint 2013 on Windows 8 and PowerPoint 2007 on Windows 7 and it worked perfectly. Some people say the process doesn’t work for them. It might be because they’re using PowerPoint Viewer and not PowerPoint to look at the presentation. If you can’t find the save option, I’d suggest using the Print Screen key on your keyboard to grab the entire screen and then just crop out what you wish to save in Paint or another photo editing program.
