Scoop.it! is a site that allows you to curate content from across the web, and then turn it into your own newsletter that you can share with your friends, family, or even employees/co-workers.
If you scroll down the page, you can watch the How it Works video. It’s just under a a minute long, and will show you the bare basics of how to use the site and how you can use it.
Basically you curate content, or scoop it, and then you can take the content you like and publish it sort of like a newsletter on your topic page. After that you can share your scoops on your blog or your favorite social media outlets.
I also found this great video on Teacher Training videos that walks you step by step through how to use the site. This example shows you how teachers could use it as sort of a professional development or lesson planning tool.
I was thinking it would be a great way to curate information on different literary theories and then share it with my cohort in graduate school easily.
I hope you’ll check it out and try scooping your own content today!
