Here’s a real quickie for you! As you probably remember, just a few weeks ago, I told you about how SeaMonkey released a new version of their all-in-one application, which was numbered 1.1.3. Well, as of August 3, 2007 (I know I’m a little late on this one, I’m sorry!), another version has been released. I know, I couldn’t believe it either. Keep reading for all the important details!
Like I said, on August 3, 2007, SeaMonkey version 1.1.4 was released. The SeaMonkey team announced that there were some serious security issues occurring within the previous versions, so they acted right away and came out with a fix for all of them. There were only a few of them, but they still needed to be dealt with and SeaMonkey did not let us down! If you want to view a complete list of all the vulnerabilities, you can do so right here.
So, if you want to get in on this new version (and why wouldn’t you?!), you can download v1.1.4 from this Web site. Again, it’s a free download and once you’ve got it, you’ll be completely up to date with all of SeaMonkey’s requirements. Also, just to make sure everyone’s on the same page, if you’re not sure what SeaMonkey is all about, you can read all about it right here in a previous tip we’ve done on it. Now, go on and enjoy the new 1.1.4 version. I’m telling you, it’s fantastic!
