If you have an Android phone, you can send map directions directly from a PC to your phone. Go to Google in your browser and type “send directions” then click the magnifying glass icon or press enter.
A page where you can type your desired locations will open.
Put in your location and click Send to phone.
My phone vibrated immediately to notify that it had received the directions.
The phone can then give me visual or turn by turn voice directions while I travel to the location.
For this to work, you’ll need to have Google Now “cards” activated on your phone. Here’s how to to do that. Go to Settings and then under Accounts choose Google.
Under Privacy, choose Search.
Under Search & Now choose Now Cards.
Make sure Show Cards is turned on.
