Shakespearean Insulter

Posted By Amanda On January 18, 2012 @ 10:17 PM In Cool Sites | No Comments

This is a fun random insult generator based on the works of the bard, William Shakespeare. After taking my required Shakepeare class last semester, I feel like this is an excellent way to decompress all that information and enjoy something that is fun, yet Shakespearean at the same time.

The generator is really easy to use. All you have to do is click the Insult Me Again or Taunt Me a Second Time button to generate a new insult.

Some of the insults come directly from Shakespeare’s plays and have citations from where they are from. Other insults are comprised from the Modern English of Shakespeare’s time, composed in the style of the bard’s writing. No matter which kind pops up randomly, the insults are sure to be fun!

Check this site out today and share it with all your Shakespeare-loving friends! I’m off to post a few of these insults on my friend’s walls on Facebook who were in my class and see if I can get great Shakespearean insult fest going! If you’d like to create your own Shakespearean insults check out this page [1] where you can find instructions and a list of words to combine into your own insults!
