Welcome to Shark Base where you can participate as a Citizen Scientist by helping track shark (ray and chimaera) sightings all over the world.
I’d suggest watching the video on the main page to learn what the site is about and how you can get involved.
Then I’d head over to the Getting Started page where you’ll find a list of six steps to follow to start helping track sharks.
You might also want to check out the Browse All Sightings page where you can find the fifty most recent sighting pinned on a map.
After that you should head over to Browse All Images where you can see all the shark images that have been uploaded from sightings.
This is a cool way to get involved and help track sharks.
Go check it out for yourself today!
