SlingTV Partners with T-Mobile & Adds Outside TV


Sling TV just announced a major new agreement with T-Mobile, and it’s called Binge On! Sling TV customers can now enjoy unlimited streaming video on their T-Mobile smartphones and tablets without using their LTE data/ Users with a qualifying T-Mobile Simple Choice plan will receive 30 percent off Sling TV’s “Best of Live TV” package for 12 months, courtesy of T-Mobile plus a 7-day free trial of Sling TV. Existing T-Mobile customers with a Simple Choice plan, you don’t even need to sign up ( Limit one discount per telephone line.


Sling TV also encourages the outdoors with their new Sport Extra pack called Outside Television ($5 a month with basic “Best of Live TV” package). This package combines the best extreme sports and outdoor living programming, including travel adventures, BASE jumping, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, surfing and snowboarding.


Outside Television joins the Sports Extra pack alongside The SEC Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, Univision Deportes, beIN Sports, and ESPN Goal Line/BuzzerBeater/ESPN Bases Loaded.

Set up for SlingTV is easy (create an account w/username and password) and the viewing quality is very strong. You also get various settings and can pause live TV or watch something that aired up to 72 hours ago. The basic package is great, but if you want even more, then Sling TV customers can also customize their streaming service to a single, add-on “Extra” packages in specific areas like Hollywood, Kids, News & Info, Lifestyle, World News and Sports plus two basic packages on Sling Latino (Deportes and Peliculas & Novelas). NOTE: The Universal Sports package is ending since the Universal Sports Network has shut down. Sling TV also covers movies with the HBO and EPIX channels with thousands of Video-On-Demand titles.


Other Sling TV supported devices, include Google’s Chromecast & Nexus Player, current-generation Roku players and Roku TV models, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices, Mac and PC. SlingTV comes from satellite TV provider Dish Network, which has been internationally operating an over-the-top (OTT)/web TV service named DishWorld, which is now known as Sling International.
