It’s that time of year again! It’s time for you all to spend time making snowflakes with me at Snow Days! I feel like this has become our winter tradition!
Once on their site, click Create Your Own Snowflake.

Use your mouse to make cuts on the paper with your scissors, and watch the preview image to see how your creation is coming along at the same time. You know that I was here all afternoon making snowflakes!
Find a Flake – this is where you can search for snowflakes either by name, location, date, or the number of the snowflake. For example if you want to see the snowflake I made for all of you. You could type in: Amanda, Ohio, 12-05-10 or the snowflake number: 9900548. Then just watch the snowflakes fall, and you’ll see the one I made float down to you!

You can watch the flake count grow as you visit and check out the weather conditions. When I was visiting it was a blizzard! That means there were 11 flakes being made per minute.
This site provides a super fun way to connect with your friends and family by providing the option for you to write a message to go with your snowflake and the option to e-mail your friends and family the snowflake you’ve made. Or you can print out your snowflake and share it with your friends and family that way!
Come make snowflakes with me!
