Welcome to Good Housekeeping’s A to Z Stain Removal Guide! No matter how hard you try, you’re going to run into a stain you have to bust at some point in your life. So, why not arm yourself with some great stain fighting tips?!
The stains are broken down into four tabs: A-C, D-K, L-Q and R-Z.
You’ll find tips for removing the normal food stains, such as curry, fruit punch, honey and salsa.
You’ll also find tips for removing household products, like bleach, grease, ink, mildew and super glue.
You’ll even find tips for removing other annoying stains, like bird droppings, make up, iron scorch marks, medicine, paint and rust.
I had a huge super glue accident recently when a huge glob landed right on my favorite shorts. I figured they were ruined, but then I came here and headed to the R-Z section. Lucky for me, there was an entry for super glue! Not only do they give you great advice, step by step, but they also tell you which fabrics not to use the stain removal technique on. They also give you laundry instructions, which is so wonderful!
I also like how there’s a button above the tip that leads you back to the stain removal tips.
Because of this Web site, I’m happy to report that my favorite shorts were saved. I certainly hope you’ll find these tips as helpful as I did!
