Fun-filled productivity software for kids combines art and writing!
This comprehensive multimedia art and writing program for kids is loaded with wacky animation, vivid color and lots of fun-filled sound effects. Its activities, which were developed from actual classroom curriculum by the Waterford Institute, blend the best of both worlds--learning and education!

Kids can easily design original greeting cards or choose from 25 template pre-designs in The Card Maker activity; make a sign or logo in The Sign Studio, which is loaded with fun-filled clip art and graphical backgrounds; or create a Me! By Me! autographical book in a multi-level, interactive writing skills activity which prompts older kids to use their reading skills and younger kids to respond to audio and video cues.

Young learners will love The ABC Book, an activity where kids can create and print an ABC Book with text and graphics (including cool stamps!!)--a page for each letter of the alphabet. Of course, for the ultimate creative experience, you can make their own illustrations by clicking on the Drawing Tools icon.

A Keyboarding Skill Game is also available for younger children who need practice learning the location of keys on a standard keyboard. Just click on the purple monster hiding to the left of the set of books in the main screen!

By clicking on the books icon in the main screen, kids can read two short stories, "We are Bugs" and "Bones"--aimed at the 4 to 6 year old crowd!

The Address Book has an electronic card-file system which is a fun-filled way for kids to learn important phone numbers, e-mail addresses or fax numbers while storing them in an organized manner! They can even design them with stamps and other fun icons to print out and use real-time!

The Calendar Maker lets kids build their own, personalized calendars. They can use original illustrations, stamps, borders, clip art, and other graphics. Six months are displayed at a time (beginning with the current month and year) while kids can choose any (or every) month to design!

There's even an Awards and Certificates maker, which comes with 40 templates and two sticker groups which can be personalized to fit practically any occasion!

Other essential tools in the Activity Desktop include Sizing Monsters (where kids can make text bigger or smaller by clicking the right sized monster); Spell Check (a 250,000 word spell-checker where kids can click a bee to activate and the bee will fly along the typed text until it finds an error!); Copy, Fonts, Cut, Paste, Justification Monsters; and Paint Dabs.

Plenty of Activity Desktop Drawing Tools include Sizing Monsters; Shapes (six geometric templates); Eraser, Pencil (five different line thicknesses), Eye Dropper, Paint Can and Paint Dabs.

Stamp Tools consist of more Sizing Monsters; a Vertical and Horizontal Flip Monster option, and a good selection of Stamp Categories (880 graphic images organized into 26 different categories).
