March has been super stressful! I can’t say I’m not going to be glad to have it over with.
Between being responsible for a huge event at school, waiting on pins and needles for graduate acceptance/rejection letters, working on my thesis, attending classes, getting an issue of the journal ready to go print, and a family health scare, I’m well and truly over March.
That sent me searching for sites with advice on managing stress and I really liked this one so I thought I would share it with you all.
The tips and tricks come from a non-profit resource called Help Guide. Navigation is really easy just scroll down the page.
You’ll start with identifying the thing triggers of your stress. As you can see I’ve had a lot this month. Then you’ll look at how you’re currently coping with stress. I’ve been using Calm.com’s new app for my smartphone and working through some guided meditation. It’s helped a lot, but I felt like I needed more support this month.
I took the advice of the article and started a stress journal and I think that has helped immensely. I also checked out this support article about anxiety, because I’m a champion worrier.
I hope you’ll take a look at this site and it can help you manage your stress levels!
