I think that this is a very interesting site! For parents it could be a tool to talk their children out of getting a tattoo, or at the very least showing their children how the tattoo is going to look before a drop of ink is ever inserted into their skin.
For anyone else getting a tattoo it can serve as way to help you choose the best location to put it, and play around with composition. I wish I had found it before my sister got inked so she could have seen how everything was going to look before she did it!
You don’t even have to register to use the site (you only need to register if you want to save the work you do). All you need is to pick a tattoo from their library, and upload or have the link to a picture of you. Then you move the tattoo into place and click the button that looks like a floppy disk to see how it looks. You can also make the tattoo larger and smaller with the magnifying glass buttons, or rotate it with the arrow buttons.
All in all I had a blast playing around with this site even though I’m never going to get a tattoo (needles cringe)! It was interesting to see what it would look like if I did. I would look remarkably silly with a cat tattoo on my neck, hey it was the best picture I had!
