The Advertising Artwork of Dr. Seuss

Before Dr. Seuss was a beloved children’s author he was an advertising illustrator. At this site you can check out his advertising art. You can browse his art by product from Ajax cups to Ford to Standard Oil and many more.
Browse though each section. Some galleries have multiple pictures, orr like the Ajax cups advertisement, have a picture and a little story. The Flit and NBC galleries are full to the brim with pictures for you to read and look at. But more importantly all of the galleries have the wit and art that we’ve come to love from Dr. Seuss.
I loved the Ajax cup story, Warren Telechron, and my favorite was Holly Sugar. All of them were delightful but the Holly Sugar is reminiscent of my childhood. Not wanting to eat fruits and vegetables or drink water—don’t you know all it needed was Holly Sugar.
