Free isn’t always free.

Take for instance those free trial disks from AOL and other dial-up ISP’s.

Keep in mind that you will be charged normal rates by your phone company.

Make sure that you choose a local number and be mindful of your calling plan.

If you live in a rural area your only choice may be a toll call, causing your “free” internet trial to cost big bucks.
