Claire O’Neill brings you a daily dose of photo stories from around the world.
When you arrive at the site, you’ll find the most recent picture shows featured on the main page. Then you’ll find a grey menu bar featuring the About, Subscribe, and Flickr links, but if you scroll past it you’ll find more of the picture stories. Once you reach the bottom of the page, it will load more stories for you just like other gallery sites (Pinterest, Gawker, etc.).
If you pick a photo story (for example the story, Under Construction: Kazakhstan’s Space-Age Capital), you’ll be whisked off and immediately you’ll see a photograph from the story. At the bottom left side of the photo you’ll find arrows to navigate through the photo set. Beneath the photo you’ll find information about the photo story an sometimes another photo.
Continuing with Under Construction: Kazakhstan’s Space-Age Capital as my example, the photo set has 12 photos of the different buildings that are cropping up around the capitol as well as some written information about the story.
Then at the very bottom of the page you’ll find navigation to newer or older stories, so that you don’t have to click back out to the main page to continue browsing.
This is an awesome look at different place around the world through images. Check it out today!
