If you have a Yahoo account, you’ll want to change that password ASAP. The company says that 500 million accounts have been compromised in what it says is a “state-sponsored” act of terror.
It might be a bit late to close that door since they say the breach occurred back in 2014. The company says the stolen information includes passwords and security questions, email addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth.
They say there’s no evidence anything is going now, but it’s still a good idea to not only change your password but also activate two-factor authentication.
