Broadband - You probably hear a lot about "broadband". It's in the news, scattered throughout computer magazines, and mentioned on thousands of different websites. Broadband is a term that can refer to all the high speed connections that are currently available. Stuff like cable modems, DSL, satellite, and other high speed internet connections are considered broadband connections. A 56K connection is not. It is also used to describe the type of media you might get with the afore mentioned high speed connections. Stuff like high quality video, audio, communications, or even TV.
