System Tray - See that area with the clock opposite your Start button? That's the System Tray. It's generally used to keep "utility" type programs running and out of the way. Most of the little icons you see sitting in it are programs that are currently running. Usually, if you double-click or right-click them, they'll open up or bring up a menu.
