Toolbars- Toolbars are the little strips at the top of a program that holds icons. Normally, they're under all the menus.
Note that most programs let you customize these to your liking. You can turn certain ones on or off. In fact, many program let you decide which button to display. Try double-clicking or right-clicking a toolbar and see if it supports any customization.
