Yahoo! Mail Formatting

Q. When I copy and paste e-mails, sometimes the formatting is lost. Is there a way to keep everything from running together when I paste it?

A. Yes. When you select (highlight) what you want to copy, be sure to include at least one line of the "heading" of your e-mail. (The heading is the informational lines in the gray area at the top of your e-mail -- "To", "From", "Reply To", etc.) In the example below, I would highlight at least the line: "Reply to:"christian-tips newsletter" < mailto:christian-tips@news.lifetips.com > along with the body of the letter. Then copy and paste as usual. This will keep your copy intact as you see it in your e-mail. After you paste it into another document, you can then delete anything you don't want.
