Q:
Here's a weird one for you. I have a wireless network and when I answer
my cordless phone it messes with my router.
A:
Sounds like your phone is on the same frequency as the router. It may not happen
all the time since many phones automatically switch channels to find the best
one.
One thing you can do is
change the channel on your router. This is done on the software endcheck
your owner's manual or go to the website of your router's manufacturer and look
for a manual or help area.

Speaking of changing channels
on your router... we had a problem where a computer kept trying to log onto
the neighbor's network. If you live in a condo or apartment and get strange
interference, it could be that the Jones' have a wireless network too. You should
also change your channel when this happens.
