Those Songs
Do you have an iPod?
I know we've done a few tips on iPods before, but I don't feel like we've
really gotten into the meat and potatoes of what you can do with one.
I'm sure you know there are various things you can do with this very popular
music player, but do you know how to do the little things? For instance,
do you know how to delete songs from your music library?
Well, the process
is very simple, to say the least, so let's get going! First of all, you
have your iTunes music library all set up on your computer, right? You
go there to get new songs, to add them to your iPod, etc. Well, you also
go there if you ever want to remove a song or two from the player. First,
you'll need to get to your iTunes, then right click on your iPod's name
and choose iPod Options. Next, choose "Manually
manage songs and playlists" and click OK.
This will free you up to do what you want with your songs.
Once you do that,
you will see that your playlist is selectable. Highlight the song(s) you
want to remove and just press the Delete or Backspace
key on your computer keyboard. It will then ask you if you're
sure you want to delete that song. Just choose Yes and
the song will be gone. You can then use that extra space for a song you
like more!
Happy iPoding!
