Notes
That Are a Drag
Do you use MS Outlook's Notes
feature?
Ever have text in another program
that needs to be in a note? What do you do?
Do you copy the text,
go to Outlook, open a new note and then paste the text?
That's not a bad idea.
It certainly beats retyping all that text.
But, wouldn't it be
nice to do all this just a little bit faster?
Yeah, I knew you'd
agree. After all, who doesn't like to save time?
So, here it goes.
Obviously, you'll
need to have Outlook running.
Now, highlight
the text that needs to be in the new note.
At this point, it's
a matter of a click-hold-and-drag of the highlighted text to the
Notes feature in Outlook.

(If you don't have
the program windows side by side, then simply click, hold and drag the
mouse pointer over to the Outlook program in the Windows Taskbar. Outlook
will take the focus on your screen and you can continue your text drag
to the Notes feature).
A new note opens with
your text in it.

Voila! No copying,
no pasting. Just a simple drag and drop!
