Removing
a Chart's "Oops"
Work with charts in
MS Excel? Ever find yourself looking at a useless legend? You know, one
that was created by default, but since you only have one data series,
it's completely unnecessary.

How do you get rid
of it?
You could right click
on the chart, go back to the Chart Options step and uncheck the legend
option.
Or, you could simply
select the legend (click on it) and hit the Delete
key.
Voila! Bye-bye legend!
To tell the truth,
you can do this with many elements in an Excel chart, including backgrounds,
an axis, etc.
Now, that's what I
call an efficient way to get rid of a few chart "oopsies!"
