Date
and Time Keyboard Shortcuts
If you're someone
who frequently inserts the current date and/or time into your MS Word
documents or PowerPoint presentations, here's a keyboard shortcut I just
know you're going to love!
In MS Word, you can
press Alt + Shift + D to insert the current date and
Alt + Shift + T to insert the current time.
In MS PowerPoint,
if you press either combination, you'll get a window that looks like this:

Now you're free to
make choices as to the type of data you put on your slide(s). When finished,
click the Apply to All button to put the data on the
entire presentation (including the master slide) or click Apply
to put the data on the slides that were selected before you began.
What more could you
ask for? Time and dates at our fingertips, no mouse required!
