Using
Vista's Cursors
Have you tried Windows
Vista yet? If you have, you’ll probably agree that the cursors it
offers are pretty darn cool! They come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
So, to add on to that a little more, I have something special for you
today! With this tip, I’m going to show you how you can use the
Vista cursors right on your own computer, no matter what version of Windows
you use. To find out more, make sure you keep reading!
1.) To get started,
you’ll have to download the cursors from here.
2.) Save the compressed
folder to your desktop. After it has downloaded, extract
(or unzip) the contents and place those on your desktop as well.

3.) The extracted
folder will be named Aero Cursors (Aero is the interface
used in Vista). Open that folder and then right click on the Install
file. Then select Install. So, what's happening
here? Well, basically, the cursors are being installed to your computer
so that you'll be able to use them.

4.) Now, it's time to open the cursors and check out what you’ve
got! In order to open the cursors, go to Start, Control
Panel.

5.) Go ahead and open up the Mouse Properties by double clicking the Mouse
icon.
6.) A little box will
then pop up. Select the Pointers tab, click on the drop
down list and then select Aero Cursors (Alphablended).
It will be the third option down.

7.) Now, select Apply
and close out the Control Panel.
There you go. Isn’t
that so cool and exciting?! This is all you have to do to change your
cursors to the awesome themes that come along with Windows Vista. Give
it a try today!
