Where's
That Button?
I hope
you don't mind, but we're going back to the basics today! It seems like
I've been asked this question over and over again for the past couple
of weeks, so I figured it would be a good idea to take a step back and
explain it to all of you at the same time. We have done a couple tips
on this in the past, but today's is going to be a little less complicated.
Like I said, we're going back to the basics! So, what's all this about,
you ask? Well, the Print Screen button, of course. Keep reading for
all the details!
This
is the question I've been getting time and time again: Where
is the Print Screen button on my keyboard? I've had several
people tell me they don't even have that button on their keyboard, but
I'm willing to bet that's not true. As far as I know, the Print Screen
button is pretty universal to all keyboards. You just have to know where
to look to find it! The Print Screen button is generally located toward
the top of the keyboard on the right hand side. It is usually in the
same column as the arrow keys and it's above the section of keys that
say Home, End and Del. It's located just to the left of the Scroll key
and it will say Prt Sc, or something similar. The words
Print and Screen are hardly ever printed out completely on a keyboard,
so always look for the Prt Sc abbreviation.
Did
you find it? It's not as hard when you know where to look, is it?! Now,
just in case you missed some of our other tips, you might be wondering
what the Print Screen button is for. Well, it is mainly used to make
screenshots of images on your computer. You can hit the Print Screen
button and it will take an exact snapshot of your monitor screen. It's
really pretty cool. You can read this tip
for more on making your own screenshots, but all in all, you now know
where to look for that all inclusive Prt Sc button. Don't you feel better
already?!
