Album Art
Here's a great one for
all you iPod users out there!
Who doesn’t
love album art?! I mean, nothing says "cool" like the cover
art of your favorite albums displayed right on your shiny iPod screen.
And with the new iPod
Touch interface (along with all the other iPod models), the role
of album art has become even more important. Now, most iTunes users
can just sign up for the iTunes store and automatically download album
art for most of their music, but what about the non-iTunes users?
Or, how about the users from countries where the iTunes store has
yet to be launched? They are left in the hands of Google Images or
going to Amazon.com to manually search and download their album art.
And that, of course, is not always of optimum quality or in a standard
size. What to do, what to do?
Well, luckily,
a guy named Josh saw the struggles of all those poor souls who are
constantly crawling around on the Web for album art and he made a
little Web site dedicated to just that.
The look of the
site is pleasing to the eye and the interface is pretty simple to
follow. You go to the Web site and in the search field, just type
in the name of the artist and the name of the album you're looking
for. Then bingo! What you want is right before your eyes!

This site usually
gives you the album art in a couple of formats, so if you're the adventurous
type, it even tells you how to grab the album art from the iTunes
store. Is that cool or what?! The album art on this site is of high
quality and the resolution goes as high as 1425x1425. That's certainly
more than enough for your iPod!
So, there you
have it. An easy and free way to get album art without ever giving
your credit card number to Apple.

you need to get this awesome album art for yourself: http://www.thejosher.net/iTunes/
Have fun, everyone!
