Where
Did My Options Go?
Have MS Office
2007? Trying to make some changes to the program options?
But wait! There's
no longer a Tools menu, so where exactly did they put your Options?
I mean, there has to be a way to control Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
etc., right?
That's a good
assumption, because the options are still out there. You just have
to know where to find them!
We're going back
to the Office Button (top left corner of the program
window) again today and we're going to take a look at the very bottom
of the menu that opens.
In the bottom
right corner, you'll find two buttons: one for Exiting the
program completely and the other is the missing Options
button. (You'll find the same thing for each Office program that uses
the new ribbon/office button layout).
Once you click
the Options button, you'll find that, just like with the rest of the
program, this area also looks very different. But, at least you've
found them and now you can spend your time hunting down the new location
of the option you're trying to change. Oh yeah!
