Tip #4280 - The Quicker Clicker

The
Quicker Clicker
Okay, so I have
just one more thought today on finding a few "missing items"
in the MS Office 2007 programs.
If you don't like
the Office button for accessing such things like quick printing, opening
files, saving files, etc., you're probably asking if there's a way
to reclaim the missing buttons for those items. Am I right?
That's a good
idea and I'm happy to report that there is an easy way to put those
things back to a single click. It's actually a pretty "small
click" at that!
I'm not sure if
you've noticed yet, but in the program title bar, there are a few
very tiny, but familiar buttons.

See them?
That is called
the Quick Access Toolbar and it's what you can use
to put your missing buttons back where the functions are accessible
with just a single click.
To modify the
buttons on the Quick Access Toolbar, click the down arrow
located to the right of the buttons.

When you do that,
a list of common functions will appear. The items checked are currently
displayed and you can select any of the other items
to add to your toolbar. (Notice at the bottom, you can choose to find
more commands for the Quick Access Toolbar, so there are even more
possibilities if you really want them!)
At any rate, as
you make your choices, you'll instantly find your toolbar updated
and before you know it, it will contain the long lost "quick
click" items you've been missing. It doesn't get any better than
that!
