Alert: SeaMonkey Update
Do
you use the SeaMonkey all-in-one application suite to take care of all
your Internet needs? (If you're not sure what I'm even talking about,
you can read all about SeaMonkey right here).
Well, if you do, I have some news for you today that I think you'll
just flip over! What do you think it is? A new update perhaps? Yep,
you guessed it! On October 19, 2007, the SeaMonkey team released a new
version of their popular Internet suite, which is now titled SeaMonkey
1.1.5. The last update was released clear back in August 2007,
so this new version has been long-awaited and it comes at the perfect
time. Keep reading to learn all about it!
SeaMonkey
1.1.5 was mainly released to fix several security issues that were looming
around the application, along with a few other small problems that were
found in previous versions. The security vulnerabilities that were addressed
are a little hard for the average computer user to decipher, but nonetheless,
they are very important. For example, a security issue that was fixed
goes like this: "URIs with invalid %-encoding mishandled by Windows."
Now, if you know exactly what that means, you're more tech savvy than
I! : ) But, like I said, all of the problems were in need of being fixed
and that's exactly what this new version has done. To see a complete
list of the changes, check out this Web
site.
As with every
new release, there is a new download you will need to get in order to
be fully protected when you use your SeaMonkey program. As with all
SeaMonkey downloads, this one is 100 percent free and it is available
whenever you want to get it. Just visit this link,
find the version that works best for your computer and then follow the
download instructions. That's all you have to do to start enjoying the
brand new SeaMonkey, hand made to better protect you and your computer.
Check it out today!
