View
Menu? Who Needs That?
Well, certainly
not people using MS Office 2007, because the menus are gone and the
ribbons cannot be modified. But, as far as everyone else goes, you
may actually need the View menu for several different things. So,
today, I'd like to put forth an idea that frees you from the menus,
even if it is only for a few seconds!
How many times
have you gone to the View menu, Toolbars
choice and selected the toolbar you need to display? (Or, for that
matter, how many times have I referred you to that process?)
In my opinion,
way too many times!
So, here's a method
you can use that doesn't require you to memorize a bunch of key combinations.
The next time
you need to display (or put away) a toolbar, simply put your
mouse pointer over any toolbar and right click.
Yep, that's what
I said. Right click.
You
should then see a pop up menu of all the toolbars. Now, use the mouse
pointer to select or deselect the toolbar of your choice.
That's it. No
menus needed at this time!
