Update
Alert: Firefox 2.0.0.13
Have
you heard the news?! Yep, Firefox 2.0.0.13 has been
released and it is now available for download. It's been a few days
since Mozilla made the announcement, so I wouldn't be surprised if most
of you are already using the new version, but just to make sure you're
all aware of the changes that have been made, I'm here to fill you in
on all the juicy details. So, if you're an avid Firefox user, come along
with me as we explore v2.0.0.13!
First
of all, just so you all know, Firefox 2.0.0.13 made its debut on March
25, 2008 and it is being categorized as a security and stability update.
You can find a complete list of all the changes on this Web
site, but I'll go over a few of them with you as well. One of the
main things fixed was a privacy issue with the SSL Client Authentication.
Another big problem dealt with memory corruption and a couple Java bugs
were taken care of as well.
This
update didn't come with as many changes as some of the previous versions,
but they're all still very important. If you haven't downloaded the
new version yet, I urge you to do so as soon as possible. If you don't,
you're putting yourself and your computer at risk for security problems
on down the road. To download Firefox 2.0.0.13, either head here
or open up your Firefox browser and go to Help, Check
for Updates. The download will then pop up and you can go from
there. Get it today, my friends!
