Make
Your Computer Talk
Did you know it's
possible to have a conversation with your computer? Yep, you can,
but there is one catch: I can't promise that your computer will be
a very good listener! In all seriousness though, if you’re using
the Windows Vista operating system, you’ve probably noticed
that your desktop has some handy little gadgets on the side of the
screen, right? Some of them look like this:

There’s
one gadget that isn’t as handy as some of the others, but you
can still have a lot of fun with it. It’s called Say
It! and if you have speakers and Internet access, you can
start using it today! With Say It!, you can hear a female computerized
voice say anything you type with your keyboard. To get it for yourself,
here's what you do:
1.) Under the
Gadgets bar, click on the + (plus)
sign.

2.) In the bottom
right hand corner of the box, click on the option that says "Get
more gadgets online."

3.) On the bar
to the left, choose Fun and Games.

4.) In the third
position on your desktop, Say It! 2.0 should then appear. Now, underneath
that icon, there should be a button labeled Download.
Click on that, confirm and then choose Open. And
that's it. You're done!
To use Say It!,
simply type in what you want to say in the speech bubble that pops
up on your screen. When you're finished, just hit Enter.
That's all you have to do!
Now, go on and
have a pleasant conversation with your computer!
