Are you looking for a way to back up those lists?
Well, the trick is to know what type of file it is you're looking for.
The "secret" is to know that AutoCorrect files have an .acl file extension.
With that
information, you'll need to run a search in Windows for these
files. I searched on my system and found several of them in a
variety of locations, so you too will need to run a search. My
latest search found my newly saved files - therefore the custom
list I had created - at this location
C:\Users\April\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office.
While I can't guarantee the location of yours, it's a place to
start.
Once found, you can include them in whatever backup routine you
usually follow hopefully saving some time and energy later...
should you need them again!
