Did you know that web browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox
only allow you have two downloads going at once?
How am I supposed to flex my broadband muscles if I'm restricted
like that?
Want to up that count? Well, you can!
...at least in Mozilla Firefox, you can.
Just type “about:config” in your
address bar, minus the quotes.

In the next screen you'll want to find the line:
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server
.
Double click on it and change the value to as many as you'd like.
Try to stay within reason, though; say 8 downloads at once.

There, you have broken the chains of your download cap! Now get out
there and transfer some stuff!
