Translate with Internet Explorer

Sometimes I find myself in need of translation when I’m doing research on the Internet. This usually leads me to copying and pasting little bits of text into Google Translate or some other translation site so I can get the whole story in a language I understand.

However, I just found a nifty little feature in Internet Explorer 8 that uses Bing to translate a whole page at a time!

Here’s how to do it:

Just browse to the site you need to translate, (I used a news story on the French version of Yahoo as an example) and click Page in the upper right-hand corner.

…now click Translate with Bing.

Give it a few moments to do the translation, and you’ll go from this:

It’s far from an exact translation, but still close enough for most purposes!

Give it a try today!
