Turning a Glacier into a Tuba: Ice Music from Norway

When I was surfing around the internet I stumbled up on this article on NPR about a musician who creates music from ice. When I saw that there was an interview and sample of this music to listen to, I knew I had to share it with you.

At the top of the page you’ll find a large play button. That will open the interview with the musician Terje Isungset in a another window. The interview is only just over three minutes long, but it is a real delight to hear the artist talk about his method and how he makes music from ice.

Beneath that play button you’ll find a large image of Isungset playing on ice, and beneath that a text article filled with more information. To the left of the article you’ll find two awesome music samples to listen to. I was blown away at how lovely they were and it was interesting to hear the human voice combined with the ice music.

This article was really cool, so go check it out today!
