John has a question about multiple computers and the Windows 10 upgrade: “I have two lap tops windows 8.1 and one vista desk top. I signed up for one of the lap tops, do I need to sign up for the second lap top? Some software gets very upset if you load it more than once.”
To get the upgrade on separate computers, users need to do it on each computer separately. Each of your Windows computers has a separate operating system license and you will be upgrading your licenses individually.
You don’t mention upgrading your desktop, but just a reminder – PCs running Windows Vista, will not be eligible for the free Upgrade. That’s for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 computers only. You could buy Windows 10 as long as your Vista Desktop meets the system requirements.
