Two New Updates
I just received information about two new updates and I thought you all might like to know about them as well. Yep, that’s right. Today, you’re getting not one, but two awesome updates! The first new release is for the Firefox Web browser and the second is for the all-in-one Internet suite of SeaMonkey. So, if you’re an avid user of either of those applications, you’re going to want to tune in to this tip. It’ll give you all the information you need and more. What do you say we get started?!
Let’s talk about Firefox first. If you remember right, it was just last week that I told you about Firefox v2.0.0.10. Well, some problems were found within that version, so the Mozilla company quickly went to work. And on November 30, 2007, Firefox 2.0.0.11 was released and it is now available for download. This new version corrects some compatibility issues that v2.0.0.10 had with certain Web sites and extensions, which is a pretty important fix! You can download Firefox 2.0.0.11 right here or you can get the update through your Firefox browser itself by going to Help, Check for Updates.
Now, on to SeaMonkey! Also on November 30, 2007, SeaMonkey 1.1.7 was released and it is now available to download for anyone who may be interested. A few bugs were found in the previous version of SeaMonkey (1.1.6) and that’s why this new release has come about. Some of the new features include a security and stability fix and the problem with read-only applications within SeaMonkey has been taken care of as well. You can download SeaMonkey 1.1.7 for yourself right here. All in all, these two new updates are very worthy of your time, so check them out today and keep your computer as up to date as possible!
