Vine, an app that allows users to shoot, edit and then share six-second videos is now available for Android. The app has proven to be very popular among iPhone users. It was purchased by Twitter last year and the company says it has 13 million users.
Like Twitter and popular photo sharing app Instagram, you can explore other people’s posts and share with a circle of friends or followers.
The Android version of Vine will a feature not yet available on the iOS version, called zoom. New features will be added during the next few weeks, including:
- Front-facing camera
- Facebook sharing
Vine also promises that bug fixes and performance improvements are on the way.
