Vista Clocks

Are you a Windows Vista user? If so, did you know that there are two ways you can add additional clocks to your Vista desktop? Well, now you do and here’s how you do it!

Method 1:

1.) Click on the clock in the bottom right corner of your desktop. Next, click on Change Date and Time Settings.

2.) That will open the Date and Time dialogue box. Once there, click on the Additional Clocks tab.

3.) You can now add one or two clocks with different time zones, depending on what you prefer. To do so, just click Apply and then OK.

4.) Next, click on the clock in the bottom right corner of your desktop again and you will see the two different clocks you just added. Cool, huh?!

Method 2:

1.) First, you need to enable the Windows sidebar if it is not already. To do that, click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your desktop and type “sidebar” into the search box. You will then see the Windows Sidebar appear in the menu. Click that to continue.

2.) In the top left corner of your desktop, you will see a screen that looks like this:

3.) Click on the plus (+) symbol and you will then see a Gadgets dialogue box.

4.) Drag and drop the clock image you would like to use to the sidebar on the left side of your desktop.

5.) Next, click on the Spanner icon to the right of the clock or right click on the clock and select Options. You will then get the Clock dialogue box.

6.) Type in a name for the clock and select a time zone. Then click OK. Once you do that, you will see the clock displayed on your desktop, showing the time you specifically set for it.

You can then repeat steps 1 through 4 for as many clocks as you wish to add. Now, go on and have fun creating your very own Windows Vista clocks!
