Voice Mail is something many of us are familiar with, but not everyone. We heard from Winifred who asked: “How do I get and hear my voice mail?”
Winifred, it depends on where your voice mail is. If it’s part of your phone service for your land line, there’s probably a number you dial to set it up. That information should have been provided by your phone company, but if you don’t see it, give their customer support a call.
If you’re talking about a cell phone, you’ll need to set up your voice mail box. Look under your list of contacts on the phone for Voice Mail or VM. If you haven’t set up your voice mail yet, you’ll hear instructions on how to do do it.
After it is set up, you’ll get some kind of notification from your phone when you have a message. You can then call voice mail, enter your password, and listen to your messages.
