Watermarks? Where’s The Leak?

Hold on—no need to call the insurance company—we’re talking about watermarks on MS Word Documents.

What’s a document watermark?

Glad you asked—thanks for helping out since I thought we’d cover that topic today.

I figure the best definition comes straight from the proverbial horse’s mouth (or in this case the little paperclip guy who’s my Office Assistant).

A watermark is, “any text or graphic that when printed appears either on top of or behind existing document text”.

Examples might be the word “draft” printed lightly below the text of a document still in rough draft form, or a company logo printed behind the text of a memo / letter.

Whatever your need, a watermark is an easy addition to help make your documents both interesting and functional.
