Wavii – Create A Personalized News Feed

Connect to the world and what’s happening in it the same way you connect with your friends and family: via social networking!

With Wavii you create a personalized news feed and then they bring you the status updates for your favorite celebrities, gadgets, politicians and more. As you add things to follow, your news feed becomes more personalized and able to keep you up-to-date with news that matters to you.

There are three ways you can sign up and use the site: Facebook, Twitter, or via e-mail. If you go the Facebook route, it will whisk you away to Facebook to accept the app permissions, and then you’ll load back onto the Wavii site. It will ask you to fill out the registration form with the following: first and last name, e-mail address, and optional information like location and website.  If you use Twitter instead, I’d wager it will take you there to approve the app, and then send you back to the Wavii site, and for e-mail you’ll probably head to your e-mail address and confirm your account and then head back.

What loads after you’ve registered is your news feed.  By default Wavii subscribes you to ten popular feeds and you’ll find these at the top of the page, so the first thing I would do is unfollow the ones you aren’t interested in by clicking the Following button. This will remove it from your news feed.

Then you can start adding the things you want to follow to your feed. Do this by checking out the Recommended panel on the right side of the screen. If you don’t see any recommendations you like, click Discover More. Or you can search for topics that interest you with the Search field at the top right of the page.

This is certainly a situation where the more you use the site, the more fine-tuned it will become to your news needs.

Wavii offers a great way for you to stay on top of all the things that interest you  in one place! Check it out today!
