Saud has some suggestions for Apple about the iPhone. He writes: “I have been using iPhone 4s for several years, now upgraded to ios 9.2; my handset is running smoothly. But here are some things Apple should address on its unnecessarily high-priced products:
1. Increase the battery backup which should last, at least, 24 hours
2. Add a ‘back’ button which will save the ‘home’ button,
3. Add an LED indicator for battery charging and message/mail notifications.”
Interesting suggestions Saud, but I don’t think they’re going to happen. Why? Well for Apple it is all about having the slimmest and lightest handset out there. A bigger battery backup would weigh more. Adding an additional physical button to the device would weigh more. In fact, I could be surprised to see physical buttons vanish with the exception of an on-off switch.
Same deal with an indicator light. That LED light would take up more space and weight. It would also drain that battery power.
As for the high price? Apple purposely positions itself as the luxury high-end option. So always expect their products to be on the high end of the price scale.
